3rd Annual Boob-E-Que
Hosted by Breast Friends Lactation Support Services, the 4th Annual Boob-E-Que Community Impact Picnic is our signature Black Breastfeeding Week celebration, bringing together over 200 local family members, infants, fathers, and birth workers for a free, family-friendly day rooted in community care and neighborhood joy.
Under this year’s theme, “We All We Got,” the Boob-E-Que celebrates the power of community. It will be a day filled with good food, great energy, a community of love, and resources for the whole family!
What Attendees Can Expect:
-
Direct Access to Care: Face-to-face connection with practicing International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), perinatal mental health advocates, and local family health resources.
-
Fun for the Whole Village: Good food, music, interactive spaces, and dedicated programming—including resources specifically curated for partners and dads!
-
Community Joy Raffle: High-impact giveaways featuring essential baby gear, self-care items, and family wellness tools.
What to Bring:
Since this is an open-air park picnic, we encourage families to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and anything that helps you get comfortable. Come ready to eat, connect, and celebrate!
