Black Breastfeeding Week Lunch and Learn

Join us as we celebrate Black Breastfeeding Week with a virtual Lunch and Learn opportunity! We will be learning from Alexis Woods Barr, PhD, MS, MPH about her work exploring intersectionality in African American families using Black Feminist Thought.

Dr. Woods Barr will be teaching us about:

*Intersectionality in the context of family and health care experiences among African American women.

*How encountering negative stereotypical images of African American women in different contexts affect infant feeding behaviors.

*Effective strategies for supporting African American families.
